Daniel Horné‘s (Lauterbach) and wife Barbara‘s (Brigitte Karner) marriage is in the pits. Daniel, a prosperous architect who lives and works in Berlin, is forced by his boss to increase his workloead. Daniel’s wife Barbara, a free journalist, has to conduct an important interview in Hamburg about the same time. While his wife is gone Daniel meets the charming 20year old neighbor Laura (Meret Becker) who takes him on a tour through the city. Daniel is enthralled and empowered by this adventure – he has not had such a good time since he was a student. He asks himself why he can’t experience a thing like that with his wife?
