The humorous series takes the audience into the year 1983 and shows Karl Treschanke’s (Christoph O. Oehme) growing up through the eyes of his alter ego. Karl is a normal 13 year old boy. He lives in the eastern part of Berlin, in a typical highrise in Friedrichshain. During his first year of high school, he meets his first love Clara (Anna Hausburg). He experiences all the ups and downs of courtship: his first prom, first success with his rock band, a great birthday party and of course the first mandatory “truth or dare” game. Everybody remembers this awkward and exhilarating time of being a teenager...
