Attila Mellek (Fahri Ogün Yardim) is the junior director of a Döner snack bar in Berlin/ Kreuzberg. His business is not prospering perhaps because Attila always feels in charge of everyone and everything. As a self-proclaimed leader of his gang he manoeuvres himself into hair-raising situations and is not easy to deal with. Even though Attila and his girlfriend Nina (Diana Staehly) love each other a lot, his behaviour drives her crazy. Attilas best friend Hakan (Navid Akhavan) persues his dream of becoming a star- until he finds a courier job and is content with that. Ron (Stefan Mocker), another friend, rather takes care of the business than of Attila. He falls in love with Nina’s best friend Heidi (Melanie Blocksdorf). Heidi is the daughter of janitor Klaus Kowollek (Reinhard Krökel). Attila’s parents Dursun (Ünal Silver) and Fatma (Lilay Huser) often drop by Attila’s place, usually unannounced and cause chaos.
