A hospital is a tough place to work in: stress all the time, rigid hierarchies and relentless pressure to perform. Especially the young doctors soon experience their limitations. Being a physician is not just a job, it’s a calling, twenty-four/seven. And their goal is to become the experts in their field of medicine. To reach this goal they know that they will have to surpass many obstacles, that they will have to get close to their patients, no matter how sick they are and that they must be highly professional for their patients’ sake.
The doctor’s of “Klinikum Berlin Mitte” (a big hospital located in the heart of Berlin, metropolis and capital of Germany) know what is expected of them and take on the challenge. They give their best 24/7, but they are also human and have to deal with their shortcomings.
