“Hello Robbie" is a pre-primetime ZDF family-series with a wealth of entertaining stories based on the life of a sea-lion who was adopted by a family. Lots of fun for young and old alike! The exciting, entertaining show focuses on the head of a sea-lion sanctuary and wildlife expert on the Baltic island of Rügen, the biggest of Germany's islands.
The program keeps adapting to the times: original sea-lion caretaker Dr. Jens Lennart has moved to Spitzbergen for a research project, and has been replaced by Dr. Florian Hellberg, played by Marcus Grüsser. Hellberg, a marine biologist, is responsible for environmental protection on the island. Starring alongside the new lead are the familiar characters known and loved by viewers of "Hello Robbie" for years now: Leonore Capell, Till Demtröder, Jenny Jürgens and many others.
