Heart surgeon and grouch Benjamin Hofer (Max Tidof) lives in a permanent conflict: he operates on human organs which he himself does not seem to have. The ego manic does not get along well with others. When his wife Anna dies unexpectedly during the birth of his healthy daughter Hofer’s behavior gets even worse. The beautiful young law student Julia (Jasmin Gerat) who has been hired as a nanny has a really hard time in dealing with Hofers sarcasm and hatred. All her attempts to loosen him up, fail miserably. But day by day it becomes more apparent to her that Hofer has a soft core under his rough shells. Unfortunately, he can not show his true emotions. That’s why he almost loses his guardian angel Julia for good, before he can win her back…
