Eva Siebert (Maren Schumacher) a committed secretary lives through a restless relationship with her promising actor boyfriend Fabian Grundner (Michael Roll). She is totally devoted to Fabian and blind for his weaknesses. Fabian loves the good life, he is excessive and driven by his desire to be a successful actor and artist, very self-centered, somewhat naïve and totally convinced of his talent.
Fueled by his believe in his brilliant future and one too many bottles of alcohol, he gets involved in a hit and run accident. Because Eva does not want him to loose his career she claims to be the driver. But Fabian seems oblivious to her sacrifice and does not seem to understand her love.
